Dr. King Samuel Owhondah, who hails from Ibaa community in Rivers State, is a medical doctor, researcher and biostatistician whose career reflects a steady commitment to scientific inquiry, professional excellence, and the advancement of healthcare practice. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, where he established a strong foundation in clinical medicine, patient care, and medical research.
His professional interests extend beyond routine clinical duties into the analytical and academic dimensions of healthcare. Over time, he has developed expertise in research writing, data interpretation, and statistical analysis, supporting a diverse range of academic and health-related projects. His work contributes to evidence-based documents, research reports, and analytical insights that strengthen scientific communication and support informed decision-making in the health sector.
Dr. Owhondah’s approach to his work is defined by precision, critical thinking, and a strong sense of responsibility toward improving healthcare systems. He maintains active interests in public health, maternal health, and community-focused healthcare solutions. His pursuit of continuous learning is reflected in his deep engagement with research, technology, and professional development.
In addition to his medical and analytical work, Dr. Owhondah plays a significant leadership role in youth development and community engagement. He serves as a Director of the Royal Ambassadors of Nigeria, Rivers Conference, a voluntary organisation dedicated to grooming boys and young men into responsible, value-driven leaders. He also serves as the Consulting Coordinator of the Anti-Social Vices Club (ASVC) in Rivers State, an NGO focused on combating societal vices and promoting a vice-free society through advocacy, community engagement, and moral reorientation.
