Doctor of the month of October – 2025

This month we celebrate yet another outstanding medical professional who thrives, not just in the field of medicine, but beyond. Dr. Nwineh Ambassador, a Surgery Resident at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt, began his journey with a deep-rooted desire to understand the human body and contribute meaningfully to the improvement of health and well-being in his community. This led to a pursuit of a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Port Harcourt.

During his medical training, his precision and problem-solving nature inspired a strong interest in surgery. And having observed the profound impact surgical interventions can have on saving and transforming lives, he pursued his dream.

Beyond the operating room, Dr. Ambassador is committed to continuous learning and professional growth. He actively participates in clinical research, medical conferences, and academic discussions aimed at advancing surgical knowledge and improving patient outcomes.

More so, Dr. Ambassador harbours the dream of becoming a surgeon who contributes to surgical education, research, and healthcare delivery in Nigeria and beyond.

Throughout his journey, he has been guided by the principles of excellence, empathy, and integrity. He believes medicine is not merely a profession but a lifelong calling to serve humanity through knowledge, skill, and compassion.

Amongst other feathers to his flag, Dr. Ambassador holds an Executive Diploma in Disaster Management.

Finally, for Dr. Ambassador, medicine is not just about the money, but a call to make a difference in the field of medicine, as well as impact the lives of his patients, as well as his community.
