Location: Ibadan, Oyo Job Summary Our client is seeking to hire a results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales operations across Oyo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and managing distributor and channel relationships within the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities Maintain and increase sales of the company’s products across Kaduna. Achieve sales targets and performance goals for designated areas. Establish, maintain, and expand the customer base including distributors, sub-dealers, and wholesalers. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive market penetration. Monitor, evaluate, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed targets. Conduct regular market visits to assess performance and identify growth opportunities. Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to support business decisions. Build and maintain strong partnerships with key distributors to ensure smooth business operations. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and product developments. Prepare and submit periodic sales and performance reports. Key Requirements HND or BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 4–7 years’ experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong organizational and planning skills. Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills. Demonstrated ability in sales planning, coaching, and team management. Strong market knowledge and ability to gather and analyze customer insights. Ability to work independently and manage multiple distribution channels. Must be farmiliar with Oyo Market and be willingto travel within Oyo and surrounding areas as required.
