Job Summary

The role ensures smooth HR operations across recruitment, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, welfare, and compliance, driving an efficient, motivated, and high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a clear organizational structure, defined reporting lines, and efficient manpower deployment.

Conduct periodic staff audits, assess manpower needs, and support prompt recruitment to close staffing gaps.

Coordinate onboarding, induction, and exit management processes for employees.

Oversee payroll processing, leave administration, and employee welfare management.

Work with unit heads to define job functions, KPIs, and appraisal parameters for staff.

Facilitate monthly and quarterly performance appraisals, tracking employee productivity and progress.

Coordinate training programs, learning and development sessions, and career growth initiatives.

Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities (e.g., labour offices) to ensure compliance with employment laws and industrial relations practices.

Ensure company adherence to occupational health, safety, and labour standards.

Organize staff engagement and bonding activities to strengthen collaboration and retention.

Manage official travel logistics and staff mobility arrangements.

Ensure all company assets, offices, and facilities are well maintained and effectively utilized.

Prepare and submit periodic HR reports and analytics to management.

Facilitate staff and management meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and performance reviews.

Leverage technology to enhance HR operations, recordkeeping, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.

Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent is an advantage.

Minimum of 4 – 6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.

Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Sound understanding of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.

Analytical mindset and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software tools.

High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Accommodation may be provided for an initial 6 months if compelling

Experience from manufacturing companies will be preferred.

Salary

N400,000 – N500,000 monthly.
