Skillpaddy Technology Limited is seeking a young, articulate, and highly driven Business Development Executive with preferred experience in the EdTech space (Training and talent placement). This role is responsible for sourcing and developing new business opportunities, particularly within government and corporate organisations, while building and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is confident, personable, and motivated by results, with a strong hunger for success and the ability to convert opportunities into long-term training partnerships. What will you be doing? Source and develop new business opportunities within the training, talent placement ecosystem. Prospect and engage government agencies, ministries, parastatals, and corporate organisations. Build and manage strong client relationships from initial engagement through deal closure and post-engagement follow-up. Represent Skillpaddy at meetings, pitches, and networking events. Present and pitch Skillpaddy’s training solutions to key decision-makers. Support the development of training proposals, partnership discussions, and commercial negotiations. Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of training programs and client satisfaction. Identify repeat business and upselling opportunities within existing accounts. What do you need to succeed in this role? Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably within the EdTech, L&D, training, or consulting space. Proven experience engaging corporate and government clients. Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pleasant and professional personality with a positive mindset. Strong hunger for success and a results-driven attitude. Ability to work independently and thrive in a target-driven environment.
