Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives within the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will leverage deep industry knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and an extensive network across the Nigerian Oil & Gas value chain to identify opportunities, secure new business, and expand market presence. This role requires a proven track record of winning high-value contracts, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across the Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream Oil & Gas sectors. Develop and execute business development strategies to drive market expansion, revenue growth, and competitive positioning. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders. Monitor industry trends, upcoming projects, and market developments to generate qualified business leads. Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, commercial bids, presentations, and contract negotiations. Lead the end-to-end business acquisition process, from opportunity identification through contract award and account management. Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements and business objectives. Achieve agreed revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the organization. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage. Minimum of 15 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial Management, or a related function within the Oil & Gas industry. Strong understanding of Nigeria’s Oil & Gas landscape, including Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream operations. Demonstrated success in securing and managing high-value contracts and strategic client relationships. Extensive professional network within the Nigerian Oil & Gas sector, including key industry stakeholders and decision-makers. Strong commercial, negotiation, proposal development, and contract management capabilities. Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills. Proven ability to work independently, drive business growth, and deliver results in a competitive environment. Salary N1,000,000 per month. Application Closing Date 12th July, 2026.
