Description

Location: Isolo, Oshodi – Lagos 
Job Responsibilities

Machine Setup and Operation:

Set up and operate CNC machines, including routers, lathes, and milling machines.
Load raw materials (wood, plywood, MDF, etc.) into CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment.
Input program codes for cutting, drilling, engraving, and other machining operations.
Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient and accurate production.

Blueprint and Design Interpretation:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files.
Adjust machine settings to meet design specifications and dimensional requirements.

Machine Maintenance:

Carry out basic machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of machine components.
Report equipment faults and breakdowns to the maintenance team.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
Use measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges to verify product accuracy.
Make machine adjustments where necessary to maintain quality standards.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and guidelines.
Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and maintained.

Inventory and Material Management:

Maintain an organized work area and monitor raw material usage.
Report material shortages to the appropriate personnel.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with designers, engineers, and supervisors to achieve production targets.
Communicate machine performance issues and production updates effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC machinery.
Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 monthly.
