Role Overview

We are hiring a highly driven Core Sales Manager for our client to lead and expand sales activities within the chemicals and polymer resins industry.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing client relationships, developing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and providing technical support to customers across diverse sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and market expansion.
Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, including manufacturers, converters, and distributors.
Handle customer inquiries and coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.
Discuss Letters of Credit (LC) with customers and facilitate seamless transactions.
Identify and build strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply of quality raw materials.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers and customers to maximize profitability.
Provide technical guidance on chemical products, material specifications, and applications to support client needs.
Collaborate with R&D and production teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences.
Maintain long-term customer relationships through after-sales support and follow-up.
Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, providing insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 – 5 relevant work experience.
Proven experience in sales management within the chemicals, polymers, or packaging industry.
Strong knowledge of chemical products, raw materials, and their applications.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close high-value contracts.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and drive revenue growth.
Ability to provide technical sales support and collaborate with R&D/production teams.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, supplier engagements, and industry events.
Salary
N500,000 (Net) monthly.
