Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Equipment & Maintenance Officer to ensure all company machinery, vehicles, production equipment, and plant facilities are properly inspected, maintained, and repaired to support efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose equipment faults, maintain maintenance records, and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair production equipment, machinery, vehicles, and plant facilities.

Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance in line with the company’s maintenance plan.

Diagnose equipment faults and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.

Conduct routine inspections of batching plants, concrete pumps, generators, mixers, compressors, and other equipment.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and service reports.

Coordinate maintenance schedules with relevant departments.

Monitor spare parts inventory and request replacements when necessary.

Supervise external technicians and contractors during repairs and servicing.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Requirements

OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, manufacturing, construction, or heavy machinery operations.

Experience maintaining batching plants, concrete pumps, generators, or heavy-duty equipment is an added advantage.

Salary

N150,000 per month.
