Description

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Responsibilities

Ensure Export Proceeds Form (NXP) is opened after proforma clearance.
Book and check with shipping lines for container allocation, seaway bill, or telex release for customs operations and documentation.
Supervise vessel space and coordinate with forwarders and plants to ensure timely container delivery.
Prepare invoices and packing lists, and share immediately upon completion of plant loading with forwarders.
Administer the processing of Nigeria Export Supervision Scheme (NESS) fee payments within stipulated timelines.
Follow up on Clean Certificate of Inspection (CCI) processing to facilitate customs clearance.
Ensure timely NESS payments, bank validation, and proper documentation.
Type COO / COM / GSP for customs endorsement and ensure export documents are dispatched within 3 days of POD arrival.
Maintain export job records in Excel for effective tracking and control.
Coordinate with forwarders for activity reports on a tri-weekly basis and prepare weekly timelines within cut-off dates.
Handle amendments in Bill of Lading drafts.
Upload freight and local shipping payments on shipping line platforms.
Manage shipping line portals for documentation and payments.
Follow up with shipping lines on freight and local invoices after vessel sailing.
Ensure complete and accurate export documentation.
Requirements & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in export operations, logistics, or international trade.
Strong knowledge of logistics, shipping processes, and customs documentation.
Experience in banking operations (NESS, CCI, and export-related transactions).
Proficiency in MS Excel and shipping line portals.
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 / Month.
