Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities
Produce daily management accounts for the Bank.
Operate and ensure accuracy and completeness of all entries.
Prepare daily financial dashboard for management.
Prepare industry comparative reports of financial position and variance explanations.
Prepare segment-based deposit report.
Prepare Bank reconciliation schedules.
Carry out analytical review of financial reports (including ratios for liquidity, capital adequacy, earnings and stability).
Undertake month-end financial reporting activities including accruals, prepayment amortization, and fixed assets depreciation.
Update and maintain Fixed Asset Register.
Participate in the implementation of audit work plans and liaise with external auditors in providing audit requirement for year end audit.
Review and analyze cost, expenses and budget control.
General ledger review and maintenance.
Requirements
Professional qualifications include but are not limited to the following: ACA, ACCA, CIBN, CFA etc are mandatory.
Minimum of 3 years work experience in financial management function within the Financial Services Industry.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of accounting and auditing processes.
Knowledge of banking regulatory guidelines.
Knowledge of the banking industry.
