Job Description

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day manufacturing of furniture operations to meet production targets and deadlines.

Assign tasks to production workers and monitor their performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained.

Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees.

Train new employees on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

Collaborate with the production planning team to schedule production activities and optimize resource utilization.

Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and address any maintenance or repair needs.

Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate production records and reports on key performance indicators such as production output, quality metrics, and inventory levels.

Resolve any production-related issues or conflicts that may arise in a timely and effective manner.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among production staff.

Qualification

HND / Diploma in a technical, engineering, or relevant field

10 years of proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in the furniture industry.

Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.

Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and the use of CNC is an added advantage.

Salary

N250,000 – N400,000 / month.
