Osten Laboratory is an Environmental and Petroleum testing laboratory. Our activities include use of instrumental methods to detect trace analysis that provides needed information for geological exploration, Environmental remediation and production activities.

 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Graduate Intern (Chemist)

Locations: Lagos, Warri – Delta and Port Harcourt, Rivers

 

Job Summary

We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for Graduate Intern, ideal for recent with NYSC certificate looking to gain hands-on experience in environmental and Petroleum laboratory practices.

This is a short-term internship (1 year), which offers valuable practical training and could potentially lead to a full-time role depending on individual performance.

Education & Work Experience

Candidates should have a First Degree, preferably in chemistry or a related discipline, with a minimum of Second-Class Honors (Upper Division).

Recent graduate with a degree in Chemistry or a related field.

Must have completed NYSC within the last 3 years.

Must be 27 years or younger by January 2025.

Recent graduates currently mobilized for youth service in Lagos, Warri, or Port Harcourt are also eligible to apply.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Ms word and Ms PowerPoint, in particular).

Good analytical skills.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness to learn

Adaptability.
