Location: Lagos Job Summary The HR manager is responsible for developing and implementing human resource strategies, policies, and procedures to support organizational goals. This role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives. Act as a bridge between management and employees by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues. Manage the recruitment and selection process. Support employee engagement, motivation, and retention efforts. Develop and oversee HR policies, systems, and procedures. Implement and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Maintain payroll structure and employee benefits programs. Assess training needs and monitor the effectiveness of training programs. Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in HR management, talent acquisition, employee relations, or organizational development. Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and performance management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management software (HRIS).
