Location: Utako, Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Contract Job Summary The Logistics Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the retail branch or service center of a courier and logistics company. The role ensures the smooth handling of inbound and outbound shipments, effective customer service, coordination with dispatch teams, and adherence to operational standards for interstate deliveries. The supervisor serves as the first line of leadership at the retail level, ensuring parcels are processed, tracked, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all day-to-day retail operations including parcel drop-offs, pickups, and customer interactions. Ensure timely processing, scanning, and documentation of parcels received for interstate dispatch. Monitor parcel flow to and from other service locations and ensure timely updates in the tracking system. Manage front-desk operations and provide customer support regarding parcel status, complaints, and service inquiries. Liaise with line haul, warehouse, and last-mile delivery teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments. Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, cash collections (if applicable), and handovers. Ensure the retail outlet is clean, organized, and operating in line with brand standards and company policies. Support training and supervision of retail officers or customer service agents under your branch. Generate daily or weekly reports on retail performance, parcel volume, and customer feedback. Assist in resolving delivery exceptions, failed deliveries, and returned shipments in coordination with dispatch and customer service. Enforce adherence to safety, security, and operational protocols at the retail location. Requirements HND/BSc in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–3 years’ experience in logistics, courier operations, or a customer-facing retail role. Strong understanding of courier operations, especially interstate logistics across Nigeria. Proficiency in using logistics tracking systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and POS tools. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced retail environment. Knowledge of Nigerian geography and transport networks is an added advantage. Salary N150,000 – N250,000 per month. Application Closing Date 19th July, 2025.
