Summary

We are looking for Market Team Lead for immediate employment.

Candidate living at Lekki, Ajah, Jakande and its environs are preferred for this role for proximity’s sake.

Job Purpose

The Market Team Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating the organization’s sales and marketing team to achieve revenue growth, market expansion, customer acquisition, and brand visibility across the Group’s business units.

The role involves developing sales strategies, coaching team members, monitoring performance, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership:

Lead, motivate, supervise and coordinate the marketing and sales team.

Set sales targets and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals.

Monitor individual and team performance against established KPIs.

Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.

Develop action plans to improve underperforming territories or team members.

 Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across all Group businesses.

Build strategic relationships with corporate clients, government agencies and key stakeholders.

Develop proposals and presentations for prospective clients.

Negotiate contracts and close high-value sales opportunities.

Expand the company’s customer base and market share.

Market Intelligence:

Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

Monitor industry trends and customer preferences.

Identify emerging markets and new revenue streams.

Provide market intelligence reports to management.

Recommend pricing and product positioning strategies.

Customer Relationship Management:

Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

Ensure excellent customer service and prompt resolution of customer complaints.

Conduct customer visits and satisfaction assessments.

Increase customer retention and repeat business.

Marketing Execution:

Coordinate promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.

Support digital marketing activities and lead generation efforts.

Ensure consistent implementation of the company’s branding guidelines.

Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs and networking events.

Promote the Group’s products and services across multiple sectors.

Team Development:

Coach, mentor and develop team members.

Identify training needs and recommend development programs.

Foster teamwork, accountability and high performance.

Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new marketing personnel.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring:

Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.

Track pipeline opportunities and conversion rates.

Analyse sales performance and recommend improvement strategies.

Present performance reports during management meetings.

Maintain accurate customer and sales records.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.

Protect confidential customer and company information.

Ensure accurate documentation of all sales activities.

Experience

Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree

4–6 years progressive experience in sales, marketing or business development.

At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.

Experience working within a diversified group of companies is an added advantage.

Proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Remuneration

N250,000 – N300,000 monthly net pay.
