Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer with a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in mechanical design and drafting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and improving mechanical designs while ensuring functionality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies.

Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software.

Review and improve existing mechanical designs for performance and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams.

Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Conduct design calculations, material selection, and tolerance analysis.

Support prototyping, testing, and product development processes.

Prepare technical documentation and design reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

HND / B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).

Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Mechanical Designer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, or similar).

Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Benefits

Monthly salary between N300,000 – N500,000 monthly (based on experience and skill level) based on experience and expertise.
