Overview

We are hiring on behalf of our client for the role of Mechanical Technician.

The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment and be skilled in handling various mechanical systems and equipment.

Requirements

Educational Qualification:

Trade Test Certificate or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment.

Experience with rotating equipment, conveyors, mixers, pumps, and filling machines is desirable.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of mechanical systems.

Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret equipment manuals.

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and FFS machines.

Knowledge of HVAC systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), and humidifiers is an added advantage.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Physical & Work Conditions:

Willingness to work on-site or in industrial settings.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Willingness to travel when required.

Must be disciplined and safety-conscious.

Team player with good communication skills.

Willingness to work shifts or weekends if necessary.

Salary

N300,000 – N350,000 Monthly.
