Overview

Our client, a reputable organization, is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Administrator to oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of its computer networks and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, and routers.
Administer email systems, CCTV, and access control infrastructure.
Install, support, and configure network hardware and software.
Monitor and optimize network performance and availability.
Ensure robust network security and perform regular system upgrades.
Maintain user accounts, permissions, and documentation.
Respond promptly to network issues and coordinate with vendors.
Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and recommend system upgrades.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
Strong understanding of networking hardware and protocols.
Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
Hands-on knowledge of firewall and VPN configurations.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+) are an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of VoIP systems.
Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 per month.
