Summary
This role ensures seamless coordination between design, pattern making, tailoring, and finishing teams, while maintaining adherence to quality and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and communicate production requirements with designers, tailors, beaders
Allocate tasks and monitor production timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
Supervise daily activities of production staff including tailors, beaders.
Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and share updates.
Train and motivate team members to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
Implement and enforce quality assurance protocols at each stage of production.
Conduct random quality checks and final inspections before delivery.
Address and resolve issues related to defects, alterations, and reworks.
Monitor fabric, trims, accessories, and other raw material usage and reordering needs.
Liaise with procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Manage relationships with external vendors, embroiders, printers, and other service providers.
Ensure outsourced tasks meet quality and delivery standards.
Maintain accurate records of production output, timelines, delays, and wastage.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management on production performance, bottlenecks, and improvement areas.
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Stay updated with new technologies and trends in fashion production.
Qualifications
4+ years experience in garment production, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, embellishments, and production processes.
Proficiency in production planning tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Attention to detail and a strong quality focus.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly (net).
