Job Description

The Production Pharmacist is responsible for supervising and ensuring the efficient manufacturing of pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulatory standards.
The role involves overseeing production processes, ensuring product quality, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.
Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all production activities in the pharmaceutical manufacturing unit.
Ensure that products are manufactured according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the dispensing, compounding, and packaging of drug products.
Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct in-process quality checks to maintain product integrity and safety.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to resolve deviations or non-conformities.
Maintain accurate batch records and production documentation for auditing and regulatory inspections.
Participate in product development and formulation trials when required.
Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure proper training, safety, and hygiene standards within the production area.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
Must be a licensed Pharmacist with registration from the Pharmacists Council of [Insert Country].
1–3 years working experience in pharmaceutical production or related field.
Strong understanding of cGMP, SOPs, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
