Job Summary
The successful candidate will support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of programmes under our women focused advocacy component.
This role requires strong organizational skills, a passion for gender equity, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Support:
Support the development of programme materials, including reports, presentations, and training manuals.
Monitor program activities, track progress, and ensure that project timelines and deliverables are met.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Assist in building and maintaining relationships with government agencies, non-profits, and community organizations.
Communication & Outreach:
Contribute to the creation of promotional materials and outreach strategies to raise awareness of ElectHER’s democracy and governance programmes.
Support the communications team with programme communications and documentation.
Event Coordination:
Handle logistical arrangements, including venue booking, participant registration, and coordination with speakers and facilitators.
Support the development of event materials and ensure effective communication with participants.
Research and Analysis:
Compile and analyze data to support program planning and evaluation.
Prepare research briefs, summaries, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of programme activities, correspondence, and documentation.
Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals and funding reports.
Qualifications & Experience
4 years of experience in program support and administration, or a related role, preferably within the non-profit or development consulting space.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
Demonstrated passion for gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent research, analytical, and report writing skills.
Experience supporting program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy efforts in the governance space.
Strong understanding of Nigeria’s governance landscape, civic actors, political systems, and regional dynamics.
Skills & Competencies:
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 Monthly.
