Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank settlement accounts, including errors or irregularities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
Utilize financial software and systems to automate reconciliation processes, where possible.
Analyze and resolve exceptions identified during the reconciliation process.
Prepare and submit reports on reconciliation activities, including exception reports and variance analyses.
Collaborate with other departments, including finance, accounting, and operations, to ensure seamless financial transactions.
Manage a high volume of bank settlement accounts and reconciliations.
Performance Metrics
Discrepancy Resolution: Discrepancies resolved promptly and efficiently.
Process Efficiency: Implementation of automated reconciliation processes and reduction of manual errors.
Educational Requirement
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in Reconciliation, Accounting, or Finance preferably in a Microfinance bank or banking environment.
Certifications: Professional certifications such as ACCA or ICAN, are an advantage.
Other Requirements:
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets using tools like; Excel
Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
System Integration: Knowledge of system integration and API connectivity.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Salary
N250,000 – N500,000 Monthly.
