Job Summary

The visa officer is responsible for processing and reviewing visa applications, verifying documentation, conducting applicant assessments, and ensuring compliance with immigration laws and organizational policies.
The role requires accuracy, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service to applicants throughout the visa process
Key Responsibilities

Application Processing
Receive, review, and verify visa applications for completeness and accuracy.
Check applicant documentation such as passports, financial records, employment letters, and travel itineraries.
Ensure all applications meet the eligibility requirements for the requested visa category.
Ensure adherence to all immigration laws, rules, and internal procedures.
Maintain accurate records and update databases with application details and decisions.
Prepare reports on visa processing statistics and issues when needed.
Provide clear guidance to applicants regarding visa requirements, procedures, timelines, and documentation.
Respond to queries through email, phone, or in-person appointments.
Handle applicant concerns professionally and promptly.
Required Qualifications

BSc / HND qualification
Prior experience in visa processing, immigration services, or customer service is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Proficiency in computer applications and data entry.
Preferred Skills:

Multilingual skills
Knowledge of immigration and visa regulations
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 monthly.
