About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee truck maintenance and repairs, ensuring maximum fleet availability and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and experience managing workshops within a haulage or transport operation.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily workshop operations, maintenance, and repairs of company trucks.
Plan and supervise preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns.
Supervise mechanics and technicians and ensure quality of repair work.
Monitor spare parts usage, maintenance costs, and downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures.
Provide maintenance reports and recommendations to management.
Requirements

Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in truck maintenance or workshop management.
Strong knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and haulage operations.
Proven ability to manage technicians and workshop activities.
Good understanding of preventive maintenance planning and cost control.
Ability to work under operational pressure and meet turnaround timelines.
Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks (engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical systems).
