Dr. Elizabeth Martyns-Yellowe is a medical doctor with a growing passion for the specialty of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine. Her journey in medicine has been marked by dedication, continuous learning, and an unwavering commitment to improving patient care.

She graduated from Grodno State Medical University, Belarus, in 2021, earning her medical degree after years of rigorous academic and clinical training. In 2022, Dr. Martyns-Yellowe was inducted into the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), marking the beginning of her professional medical career in Nigeria. Shortly afterwards, she commenced her one-year housemanship, which she successfully completed between 2022 and 2023. During this period, she rotated through the core clinical specialties, gaining invaluable experience in patient management, teamwork, and clinical decision-making. These experiences further solidified her desire to pursue a career in Anaesthesia.

Following her internship, she participated in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme from 2023 to 2024. While serving in the department, she successfully passed the Primary Fellowship Examination, a significant milestone in her postgraduate medical training. In 2025, she was admitted into the Anaesthesia Residency Training Programme at RSUTH, where she currently serves as a resident doctor. Her residency has been both challenging and rewarding, providing extensive exposure to clinical anaesthesia, critical care, pain management, obstetric anaesthesia, paediatric anaesthesia, neuroanaesthesia, and emergency airway management.
