He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Jos, where he developed a solid clinical foundation and a growing interest in the human dimensions of health and illness. Motivated by the urgent need to bridge gaps in mental health care, he is currently undergoing specialist training as a Psychiatry Resident, with a focus on improving awareness, access, and quality of care for individuals living with mental health conditions.

Dr. Adetoye is also licensed to practise medicine in the United Kingdom, reflecting his commitment to maintaining international professional standards and broadening his clinical perspective.

Beyond medicine, he is passionate about creative writing, a pursuit that allows him to engage with ideas, emotions, and human experiences in ways that complement his clinical work. He believes that both medicine and storytelling share a common purpose: to understand people deeply and to make meaningful impact in their lives.

With a career anchored in empathy, continuous learning, and service, Dr. Charles Adetoye remains dedicated to contributing to the evolving field of mental health while fostering conversations that promote understanding, dignity, and holistic well-being.
