Locations: Benin – Edo and Port Harcourt – Rivers Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Head of Operations to support the Branch Manager in overseeing day-to-day operational excellence and driving sales growth at the Surulere branch. This individual will lead team leads and their teams, ensuring efficient operations, high-performance culture, and achievement of sales targets. The role involves a balance of leadership, coordination, performance tracking, and strategic execution. Key Responsibilities Operational Support & Strategy Execution: Assist the Branch Manager in implementing strategic operational plans and ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives. Oversee the seamless execution of daily activities and cross-functional coordination within the branch. Ensure compliance with all operational processes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Team Leadership & People Management: Supervise and support team leads and operational staff to deliver on their individual and group responsibilities. Drive accountability, mentorship, and team performance through regular check-ins, performance reviews, and motivation. Collaborate with HR and management to identify training needs and build staff capacity. Sales Management & Target Delivery: Ensure sales performance is a top priority across operational teams, not just the dedicated sales unit. Work closely with team leads to develop strategies that convert leads, upsell services, and grow the customer base. Track sales metrics, encourage healthy competition, and provide support to team members in meeting their individual and collective sales goals. Customer Experience & Quality Assurance: Monitor customer service delivery and resolve escalated issues in a timely and professional manner. Work with customer-facing teams to identify pain points and improve satisfaction rates. Champion initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience and loyalty. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and maintain performance dashboards, metrics, and reports to assess operational efficiency and sales growth. Provide timely updates to the Branch Manager with recommendations for improvement and innovation. Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce costs, and increase service quality. Implement tools, policies, or technologies to enhance productivity and collaboration. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Sales target achievement across the branch and operational units. Operational efficiency and productivity of teams. Quality of service delivery and customer satisfaction. Staff engagement, performance, and retention. Timeliness and accuracy of reports and compliance tasks. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field. 3 – 5 years experience in operations management, team leadership, or a sales-driven role. Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills. Proven track record in achieving sales targets or managing sales-oriented teams. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital work tools (CRM, ERP, etc.). Strategic thinker with the ability to execute under pressure. Working Conditions: Full-time position, typically with standard working hours. May require occasional travel or after-hours work for special events or emergencies. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Salary N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
